Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 - Arkansas MUW Alumnae Chapter fall luncheon: The Arkansas MUW Alumnae Chapter fall luncheon meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Best Impressions Restaurant, located at the Arkansas Arts Center, 501 E. Ninth St., Little Rock. We will meet in the Clark private dining room. The menu will include Classic Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken and Tahitian Vanilla Cheesecake topped with Butterscotch Caramel Sauce and Chantilly Créme, plus coffee, iced tea and water. Organized by The Jim Henson Legacy and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in cooperation with the Henson family, The Jim Henson Company, The Muppets Studio, LLC, and Sesame Workshop. September 7 - November 25, 2007 - Townsend Wolfe Gallery

Jim Henson's Fantastic World, an exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and The Jim Henson Legacy, celebrates the incredibly prolific mind of Jim Henson (1936-90)* artist, puppeteer, film director and producer. The exhibition offers audiences a rare peek into the imagination of this brilliant innovator and creator of Kermit the Frog, Big Bird and other beloved characters. It features 100 original artworks, including drawings, cartoons and storyboards that illustrate Henson's talent as a storyteller and visionary.
Admission: $6 Adults; $4 Seniors/Children/Groups.

MUW Alumnae Board meeting: The October Board Meeting will be Saturday, October 20 with lunch beginning at 12:30 and meeting to follow.
